Qualifications & Experience
Kym is a professionally qualified arboriculturalist with over a decade of experience in all aspects of the arboricultural industry. In 2008-2010 he attended Merrist Wood College in Surrey, which is an internationally recognised establishment for our sector. During this time, Kym achieved his National Certificate and National Diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry with a triple distinction grade.
In addition to undertaking and implementing the practical aspects of arboriculture, Kym has also been employed to use his professional qualifications for the purpose of technical arboriculture. Technical arboriculture is the implementation of theoretical knowledge that is presented in the use of plans or professional writing to achieve or demonstrate a range of desired objectives. This typically requires presenting a professional view for applications such as: planning development, tree work applications, conservation area notices, felling licenses, condition surveys, and individual tree assessments that identify biomechanical risk or the presence of pests and diseases that may affect the safe retention of a tree.
